Affordable Fridays is a hybrid series designed to educate lenders on affordable housing programs and grants that aim to increase home ownership in New York State. Affordable Fridays will feature industry partners and stakeholders to highlight programs & products available throughout New York State. 

The series will be held on the third Friday of each month with the next session taking place on Friday, 9/15, with John Thibaudeau, Single-Family Real Estate Asset Management Vice President at Fannie Mae presenting:

• Learn about Fannie Mae’s REO disposition capabilities and how they support the company’s mission in facilitating equitable and sustainable access to homeownership.
• Hear how Fannie Mae is leveraging its REO inventory to create affordable homeownership opportunities and provide closing cost assistance through concession relief programs within its Single-Family real estate portfolio.
• Learn about how Fannie Mae is partnering with local non-profit and community partners in facilitating the purchase of its REO properties through Community First by Fannie Mae™.
